Often times we hear people saying,
"I have to do this because... "
"This is my duty... I have to do this... "
"I am the father... I have the responsibility..."
"I made the decision... I have to..."
"Not that I want to... I just have to..."
It is all about what we have to do, because of who we are, because of our responsibility, because of what others is expecting from us. Living in a society, we play multiple roles. Sometimes "have to" is inevitable, it shows the role you play and the responsibility you hold. It may not be something that you feel like doing, sometimes it is merely because you have no choice, you have chosen the path, that is what you should do, or you have to do. Sounds pathetic.
I am my heart's follower, most of the time my decision making process is very much determined by my heart. The passion of doing something, the desire to achieve something. I prefer the idea of "want to". It represents what your heart wants you to do, a form of motivation and passion, not mere obligation or responsibility.
"I am doing this because I want to..."
"I work hard because I want to achieve my goals..."
"I am the father, I want to take care of my family..."
"I have made the decision, I want to..."
Of course it is not realistic if I said I never do things that I have to do, but I guess life will be better and happier if we do things that we like, although the process may be difficult. Lets work for something that will lead us to the goals in life.
P/S: Just woke up, I am just crapping. =P
